Horses Evacuated as Wildfires Sweep Through Southwestern France. Several horses have been evacuated to safety as fast moving wildfires continue to spread across southwestern France. The flames are threatening not only residential areas but also horse farms and agricultural properties. Firefighters and emergency crews are battling the blazes under extremely difficult conditions while large numbers of animals are being moved out of harm's way as a precaution. (July 27, 2026)

One person was killed and 29 others were injured after a vehicle plowed into a crowd near Berlin's Christopher Street Day (CSD) on Saturday evening. Berlin police identified a man from an Islamist background as the main suspect and launched a massive manhunt. The 21 year old German Lebanese suspect, Abdul Ballout, fled on foot after his vehicle crashed into a tree in the Tiergarten park. Update 7:15 p.m. CEST: Police shot and killed Abdul Ballout during an operation at a garden allotment in Berlin. (July 26, 2026)

In Jonesboro sprang ein als Spider-Man verkleideter Mann kurzerhand aus seinem Auto, als er sah, dass ein Rollstuhlfahrer die stark befahrene Kreuzung nicht rechtzeitig überqueren konnte. Er brachte ihn sicher auf die andere Straßenseite und kehrte anschließend einfach zu seinem Wagen zurück.
