Trump Bows to Beijing - And Suddenly China Is No Longer the Enemy!

Donald Trump flew to Beijing as the president of a country that had officially treated China as its greatest strategic threat just months earlier. He left the city praising Xi Jinping, speaking warmly about the “special relationship” between both countries, and remaining remarkably silent on Taiwan. The man who once accused China of “killing” America, who imposed tariffs as high as 145 percent, and who previously described Xi Jinping as “extremely difficult to negotiate with” suddenly presents himself like a politician no longer seeking confrontation, but understanding.
In Beijing, Trump applauded Chinese children waving American flags, raved about the “most beautiful roses” he had ever seen, and declared before cameras that American corporate leaders had traveled with him to show China their respect. At the same time, he avoided one of the most important issues of the entire trip - Taiwan. Xi Jinping openly warned that mishandling the Taiwan question could lead to a direct collision between the two countries. Trump responded publicly with almost nothing at all. Even on the flight home, he refused to say whether he would still approve a multibillion-dollar weapons package for Taiwan.

That changes not only the tone between Washington and Beijing. It changes the entire direction of American China policy. Under Joe Biden and even during the early phase of Trump’s second term, the dominant themes were decoupling, economic dependence, security risks, and technological rivalry. Now Trump travels to China alongside the most powerful business leaders in the United States and suddenly speaks about cooperation, business, and stability. Among those accompanying him were representatives from Nvidia, Meta, Apple, Boeing, and BlackRock - precisely the corporations earning billions from the Chinese market.
What stands out most is how tightly Xi Jinping controlled the entire trip. The Chinese president personally accompanied Trump almost everywhere, guided him through the heavily restricted Zhongnanhai leadership compound, and presented him with a new formula for relations between the two countries - “constructive strategic stability.” What that primarily means is simple: no more surprise escalations, no sudden sanctions, no new tariff shocks, and ideally no direct provocations against Beijing.
Trump now appears willing to follow that line. Yet the American side already possesses a Pentagon report openly accusing China of trying to push the United States out of the western Pacific, increasing military pressure on Taiwan, and expanding cyberattacks against the United States. Trump is not even denying those dangers. He simply seems to believe that making deals with Xi Jinping works better than confrontation. The same attitude appeared regarding Iran. After the meetings, Trump claimed Xi Jinping wanted to help find a solution and that both countries were thinking in similar ways. At the same time, China’s Foreign Ministry once again stated that the war should never have happened. There is still no evidence that China intends to reduce its support for Tehran. Nevertheless, Trump publicly presented the talks as a success.
Inside Washington, concerns are now growing that Trump has become significantly more accommodating toward Beijing. Critics point out that China managed to place enormous pressure on Trump during last year’s trade conflict - particularly through rare earth materials and supply chains. In Beijing, there is now open belief that Trump has learned his lesson. One Chinese analyst put it unusually bluntly: “Everyone has a learning curve. Now Trump knows how to deal with China.”
Trump Travels to Beijing - And Returns Empty-Handed
Donald Trump celebrated his China trip as a “historic success.” But the closer one examines the actual results, the clearer it becomes how little Washington truly achieved. There were hardly any concrete agreements. China merely hinted at additional Boeing aircraft purchases - far less than the White House had apparently hoped for. At the same time, Trump completely failed at one of his most important goals: Xi Jinping offered absolutely no commitment to pressure Iran or to push for a rapid reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. While Trump publicly spoke of a “great success,” Xi Jinping appeared in Beijing as the confident leader of an increasingly powerful global superpower. The Chinese president received praise, warm words, and almost demonstrative respect from the American president. Trump spoke about a “special relationship,” praised Xi Jinping as a “great leader,” and simultaneously avoided any public confrontation over the most sensitive issues - especially Taiwan.
It is precisely there that China now appears significantly more aggressive than just a few years ago. Beijing continues expanding military pressure, intensifying its claims throughout the Pacific, and acting with growing confidence on the global stage. At the same time, traditional American allies are increasingly strained by Trump’s own policies - from Europe to Canada. While Washington argues with its allies, China is steadily using the resulting gaps to expand its own influence.
Yet what stood out most at the end of the trip was something else entirely: after returning home, Trump could barely explain what the alleged success actually consisted of. Instead of concrete results, there were only vague statements that “many things happened” and that people would hear about them soon. That is now reinforcing the impression - even within parts of Washington itself - that Xi Jinping controlled the entire summit far more effectively than the White House.
“Commander Butcher” - The Neo-Nazi Who Wanted to Kill Children With Poisoned Candy

Mikhail Chkhikvishvili was 22 years old when a U.S. court sentenced him this week to 15 years in prison. In investigative files, he appears under a name that already reveals the depth of the radicalization - “Commander Butcher.” American authorities describe him as the leader of the international extremist group “Maniac Murder Cult,” an organization openly calling for hate crimes, attacks, and murder. According to investigators, Chkhikvishvili distributed writings about mass killings, publicly glorified violence online, and instructed followers to record their crimes on video.
Particularly horrifying was a plan he described in late 2023 to an undercover FBI investigator. Step by step, Chkhikvishvili explained how to poison candy with ricin and then distribute it to children in New York while dressed as Santa Claus. According to his own words, the targets were meant to be “ethnic minorities and traitors.” Days later, prosecutors say he additionally discussed targeting Jewish schools and Jewish children during a holiday celebration. Investigators also accuse him of influencing or inspiring attacks and acts of violence in several countries. These include a knife attack near a mosque in Turkey, the murder of an elderly woman in Romania, and a deadly school attack in Nashville. In the school shooting case, the attacker reportedly mentioned Chkhikvishvili directly in personal writings.
Since 2021, the Georgian national published multiple versions of a so-called “Hater’s Handbook.” The texts focused on school shootings, bomb-making, mass murder, and attacks on large crowds. Investigators say the group increasingly evolved into an international network of digital violence fantasies in which neo-Nazism, antisemitism, and extreme brutality were openly intertwined.
Chkhikvishvili was ultimately arrested in Moldova in 2024 after American authorities monitored him for months. He was later extradited to the United States and pleaded guilty. In court, his attorney claimed the young man had changed, was reading the Bible, and now distanced himself from neo-Nazism and antisemitism. Chkhikvishvili himself wrote in a letter to the court that he regretted his actions and wanted to apologize to Jews, Black people, and everyone he had targeted.
But the case primarily reveals something else entirely - how quickly digital hate networks now establish international connections, glorify violence, and deliberately attract young people. Behind the absurd names and extremist online forums now stand real weapons, real attack plans, and real victims.
$347 Million Against Reality - Trump’s Republicans Prepare for a Brutal Election War

Donald Trump and the Republican Party are heading into the 2026 midterms with a mixture of nervousness and aggression. Behind the scenes, even Republicans themselves are expecting heavy losses. High prices, an increasingly unpopular war against Iran, poor polling numbers, and economic uncertainty are placing enormous pressure on the party months before the election. At the same time, Trump often appears publicly indifferent toward the concerns of many Americans over inflation, gasoline prices, and rising living costs. That is why the party now appears to believe one thing above all else can save them - money.
At the center of the strategy sits a massive $347 million war chest from the Trump-aligned committee “MAGA Inc.” Additional millions are coming from the Republican Party and conservative campaign organizations. The plan involves a nonstop nationwide campaign built around aggressive advertising, massive conservative voter mobilization, and attacks against Democrats. The party wants to prevent the election from becoming a direct referendum on Donald Trump himself. Instead, Joe Biden, past inflation, crime, and images of migration along the southern border are supposed to once again dominate public attention. Yet internally, many Republicans already know how difficult the situation has become. New polling shows large portions of the population blaming Trump for the country’s economic problems. According to a recent CNN survey, 70 percent of Americans disapprove of his economic policies. Seventy-seven percent say his decisions have made life more expensive. Even among Republicans, anxiety over rising prices is growing.
Nevertheless, the White House is now relying even more heavily on Trump himself. As many as 30 campaign rallies are planned before November. Older voters in particular are expected to become a key target. Trump is aggressively promoting tax breaks for seniors and tipped workers from his new tax legislation, which every Democrat opposed. At the same time, another Republican strategy is unfolding in the background - the redrawing of electoral districts. Following several legal rulings, Republicans suddenly see new opportunities. In states such as Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Missouri, congressional districts could be redrawn before the election. The party hopes this will secure additional seats in Congress. Democrats are already openly accusing Republicans of manipulation and voter suppression.
The rhetoric is becoming harsher as well. Republican strategists are now privately describing the coming months as a “knife fight” until Election Day. At the same time, Trump is noticeably attempting to avoid conflicts with some Republicans running in difficult states. Even politicians such as Susan Collins of Maine, whom Trump regularly attacked in the past, are suddenly being spared. Yet behind the façade of money, campaigning, and aggressive rhetoric, the core problem remains unchanged. Republicans control the White House, both chambers of Congress, and much of the conservative media ecosystem - and still, a growing number of Americans believe the government has lost control of the economy. That is exactly why Trump and his allies are now spending hundreds of millions of dollars trying to transform an election about prices, war, and public frustration back into a culture war against Democrats.
“Perfect Statement” - Trump Defends Indifference Toward Rising Prices
Donald Trump was asked why he had said he was not thinking about the financial struggles facing many Americans. Instead of softening the comment or explaining himself, he doubled down. It had been a “perfect statement,” Trump said. He would repeat it anytime. At the same time, he argued the economic pain was merely “short-term suffering” and would ultimately prove smaller than many expected. The remarks come during a period in which millions of Americans are struggling with rising prices. Food, gasoline, insurance, and rent remain a constant burden for many families. That is precisely why the president’s tone is now causing unease even within Republican circles. While large parts of the population are trying to figure out how to absorb rising costs, Trump publicly talks about economic hardship almost as if it were a minor political inconvenience.
Current polling already shows how sensitive the issue has become. Many Americans now blame the administration at least partly for the economic situation. The war against Iran, rising energy prices, and renewed market instability are further damaging public sentiment. Yet Trump increasingly behaves as though he considers those concerns politically less important than his own public image. That could become dangerous for Republicans ahead of the midterms. While the White House attempts to redirect the campaign toward migration, crime, and culture wars, prices remain the central daily issue for many voters. And statements like these are reinforcing the impression of a president increasingly disconnected from ordinary life.
Iran Continues Distrusting Washington - Strait of Hormuz Remains a Global Risk

Iran’s leadership is making clear that it still does not trust the United States. Speaking on the sidelines of a BRICS foreign ministers meeting, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that negotiations could continue only if Washington finally acted seriously and stopped sending contradictory messages. At the same time, Araghchi stressed that Iran remained open in principle to compromise, but still saw no sufficient signs that the American side was genuinely interested in a stable solution.
The situation surrounding the Strait of Hormuz remains especially sensitive. Araghchi stated that ships could still pass through the waterway as long as they were not involved in the war against Iran. At the same time, vessels would need to coordinate with Iranian naval units in order to ensure safe passage. The foreign minister described the situation as “extremely complicated.” The waterway remains one of the world’s most important trade routes. Nearly one-fifth of global oil and gas shipments pass through the area.

Although Washington and Tehran officially announced a ceasefire last month, negotiations have now slowed significantly once again. Mediation efforts through Pakistan have so far failed to produce a final agreement. Both sides recently rejected proposals that emerged from the talks. According to Araghchi, negotiations have not collapsed, but they remain in a difficult phase. Iran says it is currently attempting to preserve the ceasefire in order to leave room for diplomacy. At the same time, Araghchi made clear that Tehran remains militarily prepared should fighting escalate again. The primary disputes continue to center on Iran’s nuclear program and control over the Strait of Hormuz.
The comments come only shortly after Donald Trump’s meetings with Xi Jinping in China. Trump recently stated that he was slowly losing patience with Iran. At the same time, Washington once again attempted to involve China more deeply in negotiations over Hormuz. So far, however, there is no indication that Beijing is prepared to significantly increase pressure on Tehran.
Britain Pressures Musk - X Promises Tougher Crackdown on Terror and Hate Content
Britain’s media regulator Ofcom is increasing pressure on Elon Musk’s platform X. After months of criticism and multiple investigations, the agency announced that X had pledged to remove terrorist material and illegal hate content in the United Kingdom significantly faster. That includes restricting accounts linked to banned terrorist organizations or operated in their name. According to regulators, X also promised to review reported terror and hate content within an average of 24 hours. Eighty-five percent of reported posts are supposed to be evaluated within no more than 48 hours. In addition, the platform will now be required to provide regular performance data to British authorities for an entire year.
The tougher measures come amid growing concerns over antisemitic content, calls for violence, and digital hate campaigns on social media platforms. Following multiple attacks against Jewish institutions and individuals in Britain, the role of online platforms in spreading extremist content has come under increased scrutiny. Ofcom stated openly that there remains significant evidence that terrorist content and illegal hate speech continue circulating across social networks. At the same time, international pressure on X and Elon Musk is intensifying beyond Britain as well. Investigations are ongoing in the European Union over alleged failures to control illegal content. Particular attention has focused on Musk’s AI system Grok, which recently drew global criticism over manipulated images and unauthorized deepfake material. French investigators are now even examining potential criminal allegations involving Musk and the platform.
The growing problem for X is the perception that while the platform publicly defends free speech, it is increasingly associated with extremist content, hate campaigns, and disinformation. That is exactly why European authorities are now trying far more aggressively to bring Musk and his platform under regulatory control.
… and to end on one final note - or simply to show how absurd 2026 has become - one real Trump moment
Trump: “President Xi said America is a nation in decline. And I said, ‘You’re right.’”

Trump in China.
Furchtbar, was der „Butcher“ geplant hatte.
Kinder…. Kinder für den Fanatismus töten und sich dann noch feiern.
Das ist das widerwärtigste, was möglich ist.
