Terrorgram and the Case of “Operation 14”

There are stories that creep like poisonous vines through the digital thicket, invisible yet deadly. Terrorgram is one such story. A network of far-right Telegram channels that spreads like an invisible hydra across the world. Its heads: hate, terror, destruction. Its tentacles reach countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. And it is more than just a collection of radical chat groups. It is a global threat.

Terrorgram - a network that distributes instructions for hate crimes, mass shootings, and attacks on critical infrastructure. Linked to Atomwaffen Division, The Base, and other notorious groups. What began as a dark underground movement has long since become an international danger. In the United States and the United Kingdom, it is classified as a terrorist organization. Yet the poison of its ideology continues to seep.

In the United Kingdom, the nightmare has a name - “Operation 14.” A group of neo-Nazis who planned terror. Brogan Stewart (25), Marco Pitzettu (25), and Christopher Ringrose (34) - three men whose hatred turned them into terrorists. Their targets: mosques, synagogues, Islamic centers. They stockpiled an arsenal of 200 weapons, including an almost functional 3D-printed pistol. But the net closed in.

An undercover operative known as “Blackheart” infiltrated the group and documented their plans, including the kidnapping and torture of an imam and attacks on religious institutions. They planned a “race war” - their chats were filled with hate and fantasies of murder. The men were arrested on February 20, 2024. The trial began in October 2024 at Sheffield Crown Court and ended on May 14, 2025, with the conviction of the accused.

Judge Sir Peter Bentley called the men “a deadly threat to society.” In the courtroom, Brogan Stewart defended himself with the words - “We are freedom fighters.” Marco Pitzettu called the prosecutors “puppets of the system.” Christopher Ringrose remained silent, but his smug smile showed no remorse.

But it would be a mistake to see “Operation 14” as an isolated case. They are part of a network. Terrorgram is their digital breeding ground. A breeding ground that connects globally. Hate is organized. And while one head is cut off, two more grow in its place.

The question remains - how do you fight a hydra whose heads hide in the digital shadows? How do you protect yourself from a terror that knows no borders? The answer must be global. Because the enemy already is.
