Washington, June 19, 2025 - Once upon a time, there was a network that loved Donald Trump. It broadcast him in high gloss, warmed him in prime-time slots, and rolled out the red carpet of outrage for him night after night. But those days are gone. Today, in the first year of his second presidency, Trump has declared war on his former favorite channel: Fox News ...
The reason? A poll. It showed that Trump had just over 50% support on border policy - which in Trump's world is roughly the same as being accused of not being the son of God. The president promptly posted a tirade that, even by his standards, was something of a masterpiece: Fox News has been biased against him for years, the polls are always wrong, the polling company is incompetent, but the anchors are GREAT. And why? Because no one dares question his favorite line: I hate fake pollsters!

It’s the logic of a man who sees himself as the holy emperor of a television republic: If you don’t give me 100%, you’re fake. If you give me 110% but your polling firm is based in Florida, you’re still fake. And if you’re like Fox - crooked, always wrong and negative, but simultaneously indispensable because you at least gave us Tucker Carlson - then you get axed live on air. The former court broadcaster is now the new Judas. Just with better ratings. And while America continues to argue about border fences, gas prices, and war involvement, Trump draws the only line that matters: between loyalty to the channel and blasphemy. If you choose Fox, you can’t follow Trump. If you believe a poll, you’re a heretic. And if you dare show only 51%, you must be exorcised - or at the very least, fired.
