File a Complaint with One Click - How You and We Can Fight Fake News - Online Form

As of now you can file a criminal complaint for fake news directly with us via our created online form. Fill in the fields, upload evidence (screenshots, links, witness statements) and sign either digitally with mouse, stylus or finger - or print the form and sign it by hand.

Drawing with mouse, stylus or finger is possible (canvas supports touch + mouse). Use "Unterschrift löschen" to remove the drawing and sign again. When generating the document the signature is embedded as an image and shown in the print preview - when you print the document the signature will appear on the printout. The entire process runs locally in your browser; nothing is sent to any server.

Please check briefly beforehand whether your suspicion is well founded: save full screenshots with visible timestamps as soon as possible, secure the original URL (if necessary via web archive) and note account names and the post date/time. Upload these proofs directly - that makes the complaint concrete and usable.

Suggested complaint text (please adapt) Hiermit erstatte ich Strafanzeige gegen den Account / Nutzer [NUTZERNAME] wegen Verbreitung einer falschen Tatsachenbehauptung. Sachverhalt: Am [DATUM] veröffentlichte der Account [NUTZERNAME] unter der URL [URL] die Behauptung, [kurze Inhaltsangabe der Falschmeldung, z. B. „Oktoberfest geschlossen nach Bombendrohung; Polizei ermittelt Antifa-Verbindungen“]. Diese Behauptung ist nachweislich falsch. Die zuständige Polizeidienststelle hat erklärt, dass der Großeinsatz auf einen familiären Erbstreit zurückging und kein Bezug zu Antifa oder politischem Extremismus besteht. Begründung: Die verbreitete Behauptung stellt eine unwahre Tatsachenbehauptung dar, die geeignet ist, die betroffenen Personen / Institutionen verächtlich zu machen und die öffentliche Meinung zu verfälschen. Durch die Verbreitung wurde die öffentliche Ordnung gefährdet und Betroffene wurden in ihrer Ehre verletzt. Bitte prüfen Sie, ob die Tatbestände § 186 StGB (üble Nachrede) und / oder § 187 StGB (Verleumdung) und ggf. § 164 StGB (falsche Verdächtigung) erfüllt sind und leiten Sie die notwendigen Ermittlungen ein.
