Welcome to the United States of America, or as one could now also call it: the "Democratic People’s Republic of Trumpistan." The difference to North Korea? There are parades with missiles there, here there are parades with red caps. There a "Supreme Leader" waves from the balcony, here a "Very Stable Genius" from the golf cart. Both with the same message: The people are only extras, the leader is the show.
Respect for institutions? In North Korea they do not exist, in Trump’s America they exist only as decoration - courts, parliaments, press - all stage props for the great ego spectacle. Ethics? There party doctrine, here MAGA doctrine. Opposition? There in the camp, here on blacklists, enemy lists or kicked out of the civil service. And the staging: Kim lets children’s choirs sing "Beloved Leader." Trump lets Charlie Kirk fans chant "USA, USA." The difference is only the language - the soundtrack remains the same. Mountains of trash after the show are in Phoenix, not in Pyongyang. But in both cases no one sweeps up: chaos is part of the system.
And whoever thinks the parallels are exaggerated only has to place the pictures side by side: Below the blond tuft in an American football stadium, above the dark parting on the stands of the Nuremberg Party Rallies. Two rear views, an identical look at the crowd. Two men who stage themselves as the chosen ones, carried by people who believe they are greater in the crowd than alone. The difference? Only HD cameras, LED screens and a few decades. The choreography is the same, the psychology the same, the danger the same.
If North Korea and the Nuremberg Party Rallies are the textbook for autocracy, then Trump has translated it - into simple English, with red letters and golf metaphors. What remains is a country that believed itself to be the "cradle of democracy" and now looks like a copy-paste of dictatorship. Stars and Stripes as Kim-Style, Nuremberg in HD. The only consolation: There is still fast food. And Europe? It is time to finally have the courage to clearly separate from this aberration, take to the streets, show presence against this madness, support the organizations and people in the front line - and Spahn, Weidel & Co, Orbán as well as Kaczyński are sent free of charge into the new MAGA-Korea.

Ich habe gestern schon geschrieben, nehmt die Farbe aus den Bildern und man hat Deutschland 1933.
Und immer noch schweigen die Demokraten. Schweigen Celebreties, schweigen die 55% der US-Amerikaner die nicht Trump gewählt haben.
Vereinzelt gibt es Stimmen.
Newsom ist da sicher am Präsentesten.
Und Bernie Sanders (Wobei man da leider auch nichts mehr hört)

Auf alle Andersdenkenden, verfassungstreue Richter und Staatsanwälte, Satiriker, Medienanstalten, Journalisten, LGBTQ, Demokraten.
Wer seine Eltern oder Großeltern gefragt hat, wie das 3. Reich passieren konnte, der braucht nur in die USA schauen.
Und die westlichen Welt schweigt weiter.

Außerdem wird Trump nach China reisen. Als erster US-Präsident.
Mit Kim ist ebenfalls ein Treffen im Gespräch.
Ja und es steht ja auch noch Putins Einladung nach Moskau.
Da streicht man auch gerne die Militärhilfen für die baltischen Staaten. Sagt aber gleichzeitig „natürlich wird er im Rahmen der Natoverpflichtung an der Seite der baltischen Staaten stehen“.
Und hier begreift keiner, dass Trump kein US-Präsident ist, sondern ein Faschist, der sich seine Großmachtsphantasien verwirklicht.
Kleine Berichtigung: Nixon war der erste Präsident der USA der nach China reiste.
Dann hat Trump da auch gelogen 🤣
