On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the far-right group Patriot Front marched through downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Members – identifiable by their white face coverings, khaki pants, and navy-blue shirts – arrived in rented U-Haul trucks and carried modified American flags.
The march took place near the Liberty Memorial and lasted for about an hour. Kansas City police confirmed the group’s identity but stated that no arrests or citations were made during the event. Patriot Front is considered one of the most active white nationalist organizations in the United States, promoting an ideology of “ethnic purity.”
Human rights organizations and civil society groups condemned the march, warning of the growing visibility and coordination of neo-fascist movements under Donald Trump.
