Laura Loomer’s Propaganda Against Pope Robert Prevost, LEO XIV
Laura Loomer, a voice that grows louder, a figure who is increasingly embedding herself in the circles of the White House. For many, she is a radical right-wing activist, for others, a fighter for the "true truth." But one thing is certain – her recent attacks on Pope Robert Prevost, Leo XIV, are a masterpiece of distortion and manipulation.
Loomer, who portrays herself as an investigative journalist, has claimed in an extensive report that Pope Robert Prevost is an enemy of President Donald Trump, a supporter of "open borders" policies, and an opponent of American values. But a closer look at her statements reveals a picture of hypocrisy and deliberate deception.
She resorts to a strategy that is becoming increasingly popular among far-right circles – branding opponents as "anti-American" or "enemies of freedom." But what are Loomer’s proofs? A few tweets, some shared posts – carefully taken out of context and woven into a narrative that serves only one purpose – to spread hatred and strengthen her own power.
In one of her so-called "revelations," Loomer shows a tweet from Pope Prevost in which he criticizes U.S. Vice President JD Vance. Vance, like Loomer, is a mouthpiece of the radical right and had claimed that Christians should love their own families first before improving the world. Prevost disagreed – a legitimate theological standpoint. But for Loomer, this is proof of his "anti-American stance."
It becomes even more absurd when Loomer tries to portray Prevost as a "gang supporter" because he spoke out against the inhumane deportations of MS-13 members under the Trump administration. That Prevost’s remarks were about mercy and humanity, that his criticism was directed against the brutality of the deportations – Loomer conveniently omits this.
Laura Loomer, loyal to Trump and now with direct access to the White House, uses her proximity to power to spread her propaganda. A president increasingly dependent on the support of radical voices sees in Loomer a loyal ally. That her "reports" are filled with lies and half-truths does not bother him.
But this is the real problem – Trump, a president entangled in a web of conspiracy theories and radical propaganda, is influenced by people like Loomer. People whose goal is not to seek the truth but to spread hatred, deepen divisions, and secure their own power.
Laura Loomer is not a journalist. She is a propagandist who uses her reach and influence in the White House to advance her own agenda. And under a president like Donald Trump, she finds a stage – a stage she uses to bring lies to the heart of power.
