The Madness Continues - The Vice President Hosts Charlie Kirk’s Megaphone of Hate

byRainer Hofmann

September 15, 2025

One would think the lowest point had been reached - and yet the country keeps sinking further. Now the vice president of the United States himself will step in as substitute host of the talk show of a man who spent his life sowing hate. JD Vance, Trump’s right-hand man, sits on Monday afternoon in his ceremonial office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, right next to the White House, and speaks into Charlie Kirk’s microphone. “Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend,” he wrote on social media. Friend? The man to whom he is paying his last respects was not a provocateur in the classic sense but someone who had compiled a compendium of hate so dark that even in America in 2025 it can hardly be surpassed. Charlie Kirk called for homosexual people to be “stoned to death.” He declared that most people would be afraid if they saw a Black pilot in the cockpit. Pop icon Taylor Swift, in his opinion, should reject feminism and submit to her future husband. No one should ever be allowed to retire. Leftists should not be allowed to move to Republican states. British colonialism, he proclaimed, had “made the world decent.”

Kirk went even further: the man who attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer should, in his opinion, be released on bail. Freedom of religion should be abolished. Black politicians had “stolen White people’s seats.” Martin Luther King Jr. was “a terrible person.” The racist conspiracy theory of the “Great Replacement” was reality. Hydroxychloroquine cured COVID-19, vaccine mandates were “medical apartheid.” Deaths by gun violence were the price one had to pay to keep the Second Amendment.

And the catalog of abysses continues: women by nature belonged under the control of their husbands. Parents should prevent their daughters from taking contraceptives. George Floyd deserved his death, while the January 6 Capitol rioters were innocent. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, the legal foundation of modern anti-discrimination law, was “a huge mistake.” He encouraged parents to protest mask mandates and called the election victory of a Muslim in New York a tragedy - after all, Muslims had carried out September 11. Muslims only came to America to destabilize Western civilization. Palestine “does not exist” and those who support it are like the Ku Klux Klan. And it is precisely this platform that the vice president of the United States now wants to carry forward - as a tribute. It is a step that pulverizes the last shred of decency. Instead of seeking distance, instead of showing that the highest office in the land stands for the dignity of all citizens, JD Vance makes himself the mouthpiece of an ideology that demeans, threatens and disenfranchises millions of people.

One thinks the abyss has been reached, and then it opens even deeper beneath. That a man who is the second most powerful politician in the United States not only tolerates this show but hosts it himself shows how much hate speech has become state policy. It is the moment when political culture turns into a culture of humiliation. The United States is not only divided - it is on its way to elevating hate to a place of honor.

Wisst Ihr dazu etwas?
