Once upon a time, there was a country with a constitution, a separation of powers, and a certain aversion to monarchies. But all of that now lies buried beneath a silky cape. The White House has done it again – or rather, what still passes as the White House. With puffed-out chest, Photoshop muscles, and the expression of a duty-free shop window mannequin, the 79-year-old President of the United States has been staged as Superman. On the official account of the U.S. government. Seriously. “THE SYMBOL OF HOPE. TRUTH. JUSTICE. THE AMERICAN WAY. SUPERMAN TRUMP. 🇺🇸” – that is how the digital mouthpiece of power proclaims it. Not a meme account from Oklahoma, not a bizarre AI joke, not even a satirical headline from The Onion, but the government itself. The presidential administration. The Oval Office. The place where Kennedy once wrote his speeches and Lincoln put his signature now apparently serves as fan club headquarters for end-stage comic book fantasies.

You want to laugh, if it weren’t so sad. Because it’s not just a ridiculous display of self-promotion – it’s a political derailment in broad daylight. The president as savior of mankind, as a superhuman being, as shining guardian of truth, justice, and the “American Way” – which in reality currently means dismantling environmental laws, deporting migrant children, and feeding the Supreme Court with obedience. Truth? Trump’s own social media platform is a graveyard of lies. Justice? Tens of thousands sit in immigration detention without trial. And the American way? It currently runs through surveillance, censorship, and a militarization of everyday life. But Trump relishes the pose. He is his own myth. No longer a president, but a living allegory of delusions of grandeur. What was once held in check by checks and balances is now replaced by movie posters and patriotic slogans. Reality has long since become the backdrop. And the backdrop the government program.
If the president declares himself Superman, what comes next? Trump as Jesus at Easter? Trump as Captain Planet at the next climate summit? Trump as Abraham Lincoln, freeing the slaves from himself? In a country where institutions are shaking, the line between grotesque and reality has become fluid. What begins as satire often ends as decree. It remains a country in a state of absurd emergency. The world laughs – or weeps. And somewhere, deep beneath Clark Kent’s mask, Superman is probably shaking his head. But one question remains: “When will the world be freed from this madman?”
… Eine Farce in….
Besser könnte man es nicht betiteln.
Aber was soll es, was „ein paar wenige leise Kritiker“ denken.
MAGA jubelt.
MAGA hält ihn ohnehin schon für den von Gott gesandten.
Toppen könnte nur das nur noch Trump ist Gott🙈
