One Dead, No Other Injuries – Police Chief Flatly Contradicts Trump’s Lies

The Minneapolis police chief, Brian O’Hara, has unequivocally rejected the White House’s account of today’s fatal ICE operation. According to police, Renee Nicole Good was the only person injured – and she is dead. There were no other injuries, in particular no injured ICE officer who was allegedly being treated in a hospital. This directly contradicts claims made by Donald Trump, who publicly stated that an ICE officer had been injured in the incident and was recovering.

“I just watched the clip of the event that took place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It is terrible to watch. The screaming woman was obviously a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was acting very disorderly, obstructing and resisting, and then violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE officer, who apparently shot her in self-defense. Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but he is now recovering in the hospital. The situation is being studied in its entirety, but the reason these incidents are happening is because the radical left is threatening, assaulting, and targeting our law enforcement officers and ICE agents on a daily basis. They are just trying to do their job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE. We must stand behind our law enforcement officers and protect them from this radical left movement of violence and hate.”

The police are therefore not contradicting the White House on minor details, but on the central fact of the event. If only one person was injured and that person is dead, then there is simply no room for additional victims. O’Hara delivered his statement in a sober tone, without political rhetoric, based on the findings of his department so far. It is precisely this matter-of-factness that makes the contradiction so stark. Here, a verifiable police finding stands against a political narrative that cannot be substantiated.

The Minneapolis police chief, Brian O’Hara, directly contradicted Donald Trump. O’Hara confirmed that Renee Nicole Good was the only person injured in today’s incident. This stands in clear opposition to Trump’s claim that an ICE officer had been injured and was recovering in a hospital.

Renee Nicole Good, ✝ January 7, 2026

The attempt to relativize or justify Renee Good’s death by pointing to an alleged injury to an officer collapses at this point. Police confirm what eyewitnesses and initial reports had already suggested: There was no attack producing multiple victims, no injured officers, no chaotic firefight. There was one woman killed, 37 years old, the mother of a six-year-old son.

This inevitably shifts the focus. If no officers were injured, a central argument for claiming an acute self-defense situation disappears. The question is no longer how many were injured, but why shots were fired at all. And why a different story was then publicly presented. That this contradiction comes from the local police carries particular weight. O’Hara is not a political opponent of Trump, but the head of the agency investigating the incident. His statements are verifiable, documented, and part of an ongoing investigation. Anyone who disputes them must provide evidence.

Minneapolis from Above – Thousands Honored Renee Nicole Good

In this case, there are only two versions. One comes from the police. The other from the White House. And they cannot both be true. Which story is false does not require prophecy – it is Trump’s story, invented in his own mind.

  1. Forensische Beweise, zeigen welche Version stimmt.

Nur in Trumps Parallelwelt sind Fakten unwichtige Kleinigkeiten.
    Wichtiger ist seine Erzählung.
Sein Wort ist die nicht revidierbare Wahrheit 🤬🤬🤬

    Was muss noch passieren?
