The Clone Cabal – Trump’s Latest Conspiracy and the Dance Around the Soulless Double

June 1, 2025

It sounds like the plot of a cheap science fiction movie that even RTL2 wouldn’t air late at night – Joe Biden, allegedly executed in 2020, replaced by a soulless robotic decoy controlled by dark forces – and no one noticed. No one, of course, except Donald Trump and his most loyal Truth Social preachers. On Saturday night, the president personally reached into the lowest drawer of conspiracy myths and shared a post that even among QAnon followers might be considered “original.” The post reads:

“There is no Joe Biden anymore - executed in 2020. What you see are clones, doubles, and robotically engineered soulless, mindless entities. The Democrats don’t know the difference.”

You might laugh – if it weren’t meant dead seriously. Because what’s being posted here isn’t just internet nonsense. It’s part of a dangerous narrative pattern that’s spreading like a digital pandemic through the political nervous system of the United States.

A Robot in the White House?

Of course, this isn’t new. Bizarre Biden legends have been floating around online for years – sometimes he’s computer-generated, sometimes replaced by artificial intelligence, sometimes a deep-frozen hologram version with supposedly black instead of blue eyes. In the comment sections, people eagerly compare images, measure cheekbones, analyze earlobes – like a post-factual beauty clinic for the deranged. It’s the same script every time – the legitimate president is a fake, and their own camp is the last bastion of “truth.” This “truth regime” isn’t just fed by semi-anonymous troll accounts – no, the president himself is lead actor, producer, and brand ambassador all in one.

Deep State, Satan and Sunglasses

The account that posted the robot-Biden theory belongs to one of those faithful apostles who also claim the 2020 election was a “military coup” – and that Trump saved the world from a “satanic elite.” The Bible verse remains unnamed, but one might assume that in this version, God wears a MAGA cap. Trump’s fans celebrate the theory like a lost piece of truth, posting Biden look-alike pictures, debating pupil diameters, and writing with deadly seriousness things like “Don’t you see? His eye color changed!” You can’t help but wonder whether these are the same people who see the apocalypse in every traffic light change.

Trump, the Prophet of the Absurd

Trump playing with such myths has long become part of his system. For years, he has been scattering claims like spores in the wind – that the 2020 election was rigged, that Obama wasn’t born in the United States, that the attack on Paul Pelosi was staged, that Haitian migrants eat pets. Every one of these claims has long been debunked – and yet they remain in circulation, because they serve a purpose – the permanent erosion of truth. The more grotesque the claim, the more firmly it seems to embed itself in his followers’ minds. It’s the logic of overload – once someone rides this wave, they lose their grip on any form of rationality. Madness becomes a worldview.

The Ministers of Myth

But Trump is not alone on this stage of fog machines and shaky props. Members of his administration actively fuel the spectacle. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., for example, has spread well-worn vaccine myths, from autism to “poisoned contrails” – chemtrails are now officially back in political discourse. In Louisiana, the state legislature even recently voted to ban them. And then there’s Kash Patel,, Trump’s FBI Director, who openly sympathizes with QAnon – that absurd theory claiming an elite pedophile ring from the “Deep State” controls the US. Once upon a time, such a person would have been removed from any agency. Today, he’s making decisions about national security.

The Real Double: Truth Itself

What we are witnessing here is no longer just a quirky eccentricity. It is an orchestrated attack on the collective memory of a nation. When the president publicly claims his predecessor was replaced by a machine – while courts, parliaments, and agencies are busy dealing with real problems – then this is not parody. It’s strategy. Trump is not cloning Biden. He is cloning reality. He replaces facts with claims, journalism with memes, trust with confusion. And like in every bad sci-fi movie, no laser cannon is needed – just a screen and a man who believes himself infallible.

The question is no longer whether Trump believes what he shares. The question is – what do we still believe when such things become normal? In a world where presidents post clone myths, the problem isn’t the robot – it’s the human who believes it.
