Nearly 7,000 international students are affected. Among them: Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, 23 years old, future queen. She had just completed her first year in the Master of Public Policy program at the Harvard Kennedy School. Now, her academic future hangs in the balance. Ideological Purge in the Name of Homeland Security<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the letter sent to the university on May 22, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem justified the move with grave accusations. Harvard, she claimed, maintains an \u201cunsafe campus environment,\u201d promotes \u201cpro-Hamas sympathies,\u201d employs foreign students while failing to cooperate with authorities, and upholds \u201cracist diversity, equity and inclusion practices.\u201d All of this, she stated, is incompatible with national security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
